Lazy Sunday

It's a lazy kind of a Sunday around here... and that doesn't happen very often. I can't even remember the last time I had 'nothing' to do on a Sunday.
I suppose I should clarify before I get a dozen emails saying "I wish I didn't have anything to do..."
I have laundry, a sink full of dishes... I have calls to return, photo's to edit, dinner to make... you get the idea, right? I just don't have any irons in the fire, so to speak. I didn't agree to help anyone, or go anywhere...
It started earlier this week... with the appraisal. The house was clean, and looking good. I said no whenever possible, and kept the calendar open. We originally had a bbq with friends planned for Saturday evening... but my girlfriend had to cancel. Then, while at work... my SIL and brother were in for their hair... and our friends were home from Korea for a visit.
We got to talking about how my evening plans had changed... and I decided rather than wasting all the delicious food I bought- we'd have a bbq after all. It was fun... and the margarita's were yummy! :) I just love being surrounded by friends and family that fill your heart with laughter!
So Sunday morning started out later than usual- and I decided breakfast burritos were in order. Too bad for my diet... but breakfast burritos have magical healing power... did you know that?
We did go outside and swim for a while... but ended up coming inside. We took out some games and found ourselves on the living room floor- just hanging out and having fun...
Did I mention the boys were in the pool... that would be once excuse why they don't have clothes on... but seriously short of stapling them to their tushy's... sigh... He loves when he wins... but he's learning to be a good sport when he doesn't. He's been such a good big brother lately... lucky for Kyle!

It's just been one of those fabulous days... when the little nagging voice inside your head that reminds you about dishes, laundry and bills... is just quiet enough that you can hear two little boys and the sound of their laughter.
I love days like this... =)
