I spent time with them today building a train track. It goes through my dining room, and wraps from the living room into the kitchen. They thought it was so cool that mom was on the floor with them... but I was thinking how cool it was that they wanted me there.
Zach asked if I would take a picture of his train... I told him to hold it for me. (Oooh yeah... a picture of my guy LOOKING at me!) I'm starting to think how bright I am... I'm sure he'll out-smart me sooner or later.
Then, because he does it 'all by himself' and doesn't need any one's help... Kyle decided to start going #2 on the toilet! We've been working with him, but he wanted nothing to do with it. I bribed him, I begged him... but I heard him yell "Maaaa"... and I ran to the bathroom. He'd got the chair up by himself, and took care of business without any one's help!After Mom and Dad's happy dance.. he said "I gonna get a newwww Mighty Machine!"
Apparently he remembered mom's bribe.
He's already out-smarting me while on the toilet.
I just finished reading their bedtime story to them, and I listened for them to drift to sleep. I thought about how fast they grow... and how quickly the time has already gone by. I thought about how all their milestones are mine. I am so lucky their my guys... and I'm so lucky they put up with me. :)
