September stuff...

I can hardly believe that September is over half way gone! We are finally getting our routine down in the morning... and I have been up before the sunrise. (I can hardly believe those words to be true as I am reading them... but I promise, they are!)
We didn't make our Labor Day deadline of completing construction... but we're getting darn close. John installed the carpet last night, and we are hoping to have bathroom plumbing up and running in about a week. (If I could get the grout in the tiles.. but I swear my hands are going to fall off my arms, they're so overworked! 'grumble grumble')
After I picked the boys up from school, I took them to the park. I made my 'to-do' lists for their birthday extravaganza's and enjoyed a very mild afternoon. THREE hours later, we headed home...

and got some of our chores done. Which now includes HOMEWORK...

for BOTH of them!

We have a big day at the Zoo planned tomorrow. Our friend's twin birthdays are tomorrow... and it's at a 'Fairytale Park' with lots of kid friendly stuff to climb and slide on. And we are hoping to visit the zoo across the street- wish us luck- or maybe enough energy to get through the day.
